Caroline Cupitt

Caroline came to Longchen in 1991 whilst Rigdzin Shikpo was doing his 3 year retreat. During this period she also took meditation instruction from several other teachers, including Godwin Samararatne who supervised her during a two month retreat.

Having met Rigdzin Shikpo in London in1993 after his retreat, she became his student and has been so ever since, having felt no need to take any instruction from elsewhere.

Caroline began to teach in 2000 in South East London when she helped to establish a local Longchen group with David Hutchens. In 2001 Rigdzin Shikpo authorised her to teach the Lions’ Roar and she now teaches regularly at Lion’s Roar and Path of Freedom events.

Caroline works in the NHS as a clinical psychologist.
