Path of Freedom Talk on Sensitivity

Sat 22 Oct 2016 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

This Path of Freedom talk will be taught in Oxford and open to all.

Openness, Clarity and Sensitivity are the key to a happy life and enlightened society. The more open we can be towards our experience, the more confidence we develop as we start to see more clearly. Sensitivity relies on the clarity aspect of being. Until we begin to relate to our experience directly and clearly, sensitivity is clouded so that we tend to react to situations, rather than respond skilfully to them. Once we start responding skilfully we can enjoy life more fully.

Whether you are new to meditation or to Buddhism, or even if you have been practising for many years, these teachings present the Maha-Ati teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in a way that is relevant and accessible to those of us born and brought up in the West.

At these exploratory events you will discover:

    • how to relate to your own experience in a simple and direct way through the practice of formless meditation
    • the basic idea of Clarity as taught by the Rigdzin Shikpo, author of Openness Clarity Sensitivity and Never Turn Away
    • ways to bring these teachings into your daily life.

Cost: £40 (£20 conc). Book now for the early bird rate.
