Director
"Meditation and daily life practice are a path of discovery because there is something to be discovered. It is called the Nature of Mind, Buddha Nature or the Indestructible Heart Essence. But what is it? That is what we each have to discover within ourselves. The path is the awakening process by means of which we come to recognise it."

Endless Compassionate Vision 2012 - 13

(retreats and weekends)

Level One of the Endless Compassionate Vision Programme, the “Inspiration of the Endless Compassionate Vision” is a one-off weekend for those of you who are not sure whether you want to continue to the next programme following the completion of The Lion’s Roar but are inspired to know more about it. But it is more than that – it is, like the first gate of The Lion’s Roar, the foundation for the whole of the Endless Compassionate Vision.

Having participated in The Lion’s Roar Celebration Day and having gone for refuge in the Mahayana Maha-Ati tradition with Rigdzin Shikpo Rinpoche you are eligible to continue to the Endless Compassionate Vision (ECV), the next step on the Indestructible Heart Essence (IHE) Path of Training.

The ECV is a three-year programme consisting of three weekends and a one week mandatory retreat each year. The programme is sequential so the requirement and basis for the next level in the programme is the previous Level and its completion; both the teaching and the meditation period.

The teachings in the first year will be on the meaning of Bodhicitta and the path of the Bodhisattva Warrior, leading to the Bodhisattva Vow and further commitment to the nature of mind in the Bodhicitta Empowerment on Level Four. This empowers our practice, enabling us to be fully engaged in helping all beings.

From this autumn students in Germany and in Britain will be following the same programme so there would be the possibility of attending either of the dates in the schedule.

Schedule for 2013:

Level Two

  • February 25 – 27 Germany
  • March 2 – 3 Oxford

Level Three

  • May 10 – 12 Germany
