Rigdzin Shikpo, author of “Openness Clarity Sensitivity” and “Never Turn Away”, was authorised by Trungpa Rinpoche as lineage holder of the Mahamudra Maha-Ati tradtion. In 1975 Trungpa Rinpoche established the Longchen Foundation in consultation with HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and together they appointed Rigdzin Shikpo as Dharma Director and spiritual leader. After Trungpa Rinpoche’s death Rigdzin Shikpo received further Dzogchen instructions from Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and finished a 3 year retreat under his guidance. Khenpo Rinpoche gave him the title of Rigdzin Shikpo in honour of his realisation meaning knowledge holder (vidyadhara in sanskrit) beyond concepts.

Heart of Buddha is a series of open talks by Rigdzin Shikpo that present the Maha-Ati teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in a way that is relevant and accessible to Western students.

You can attend this talk for a suggested donation of £12 (or less if you cannot manage or more if you feel inspired).

The talk will also be streamed live above and you can also follow the talk via our YouTube page. If you watch the live stream, please make a donation for these teachings below.

PLEASE NOTE: The video will be up for at least 72hrs after going live if you can’t make the broadcast.

We will start the afternoon with meditation until Rigdzin Shikpo arrives for the teaching. There will also be a teabreak in the afternoon.
