Path of Freedom Talk on Openness

Sat 23 Apr 2016 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

This Path of Freedom talk will be taught in Oxford and open to all.

Openness, Clarity and Sensitivity are the key to a happy life. These three aspects of being form the Indestructible Heart Essence. The more open we can be towards our experience, the more confidence we develop. The more confident we become, the more transparent we can afford to be. The more transparent we become, the more others trust us. The more others trust us, the more friends we attract. These three aspects of being, Openness, Clarity, Sensitivity, enable us to see and respond to our world more clearly and effectively, leading to a happier more fulfilled life.

Whether you are new to meditation or to Buddhism, or even if you have been practising for many years, these teachings present the Maha-Ati teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in a way that is relevant and accessible to Western students.

At these exploratory events you will discover:

    • how to relate to your own experience in a simple and direct way through the practice of formless meditation
    • the basic idea of openness as taught by the Rigdzin Shikpo, author of Openness Clarity Sensitivity and Never Turn Away
    • ways to bring these teachings into your daily life.
