The Lion’s Roar Gate One: The Immediacy of Awareness (London)

Sat 26 Nov 2016 @ 10:00 am Sun 27 Nov 2016 @ 6:00 pm

The only course requirements are an open mind and a willingness to look at your own experience in a search for truth.

The moment of the Buddha’s enlightenment has been likened to a ‘Lion’s Roar’.

This course introduces the Dzogchen tradition of Buddhist meditation. It is suitable for both total beginners and experienced meditators, for those from any tradition and those from none. The emphasis will be on seeing the true significance of the direct, immediate sense of awareness that we have with us all of the time. There will be an introduction to formless meditation and an exploration of how to carry this very profound view of the world into the every day world of our experience.

Cost: £120 (£55-95 conc). Book now for the early bird rate (£95).

During the course the transmission of the formless meditation instruction is given. Additionally, for background reading, first-time attendees will receive a copy of the book Openness Clarity Sensitivity by Rigdzin Shikpo.
